The school is situated in Ram Nagar, Shastri Nagar, in the heart of the city and sprawls over 2.23 acres (9037 m²). The campus consists of School Building, Gardens, Lawns, Sports Fields, Badminton Courts, Basketball Court, Cricket Field, Volleyball Court, A huge indoor sports section and an auditorium.
Well-equipped laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers and Mathematics have been provided in the school. They are under the charge of qualified staff and lab assistants. This facility will enable the students to perform experiments independently under the supervision of teachers. At the middle level experiments are demonstrated in the class rooms & laboratories.
A well lit extensive library is available for students and faculty. Besides the books on every subject and topic the library subscribes to various periodicals and local dailies. Other library resources include reference books, magazines, other creative books and a large collection of DVD’s and CD’s.
I.T. education has become a modern necessity of present day life & according has been introduced in school education, so as to enable the student to learn the same right from the beginning o their life. SJT School has a well equipped Computer Lab for Class I onwards. The interactive digital classroom is equipped with set of computer & interactive board to enhance media based education. The teachers are also Computer Literate to enable their students to meet the challenge of IT world.
When a child’s school has a playground, these short breaks allow kids freedom and fun, which, in turn, makes the educational experience more fun. Establishing physical activity habits for students via school playground opportunities is important.
